SOULEKATZ
HOME OF THE ELF CAT

Elfs are the deliberate hybrid of the Sphynx and American Curl. The
desired results being a hairless, slightly curled ear cat. Athletic in
appearance, gentle but lively, out-going and very affectionate. Elfs
are intelligent, friendly cats that are agile and have personality plus.
They respond well to being handled as they are very interactive,
social cats.
The elf was developed by Kristen Leedom ( House of Quendi) and
Patti Soule (Soulekatz).   The first Elf Cat was born at the House of
Quendi and with determination and hard work, the Elf now lives on
to be with Man.
There may be those that find that this is a controversial breed, but
with much perseverance and our ethical approach we feel that the
“Elf Cat” will be accepted with TICA and CFA.

I have found the need and desire to post publically on my site the
fact that Falmari Elf Cats( www.elfcats.com)
is not in any way, shape, or form affiliated with our group of breeders.
We are in no way associated with Karen Nelson or anyone in her
group of breeders.   We use only American curl cats in our lines to be
true to the breed standard and the health of our Elf cat breed.  We
do not use highlanders or any other curled ear hybrid breed to further
our Elf Cat breeding program.
Please careful when choosing a
breeder when purchasing your Elf
baby.

We are looking to add others as fore founders to promote the “Elf
Cat.” If you are seriously interested in working with us, please
contact us for more information.

Welcome to the World of the Elf Cat
Here you will find all the information about the development of this
new and exciting hybrid breed of cat.

Soulekatz Cattery is located on the shores of Lake Michigan in
Sheboygan, Wisconsin.
I am truly very excited about the forthcoming of the Elf Cat.
I have been breeding cats for 4 years.  I began breeding Munchkins,
Bambinos, and began breeding the Dwelf Cat.  While working on the
Dwelf breed, I took a real liking to the look of the Long-legged
non-standard Dwelf.  With the help of my partner, Kristen Leedom, of
Quendi Elf Cats, our dream of developing the Elf Cat came true!!  I
cannot thank Kristen enough for all that she has done for me and
keeping me posted while I took a break from breeding due to a family
emergency.  I am now ready, set, and able to continue on the journey of
the Elf Cat.  We currently have a total of 8 Elf Cats in our breeding
program and we are soooo
excited about it.  Elf Cats are currently registered with TICA as an
experimental new breed and with REFR.
